Chef David Tsirekas is a Sydney, Australian native who began his culinary career at his sister’s Greek restaurant after years of coaching swim and water polo. Chef David has been honored with multiple Australian Chef’s Hat Awards, won Best Greek & Mediterranean Restaurant in Australia’s Good Food Guide, and has been named one of the Top Greek Food Influencers in the New York Times.
Chef David has authored and contributed articles to leading culinary publications, most recently being his Disruptive Guide to Food, Wine, and Wonder in Athens with The Greek Herald.
Chef David is inspired by his two daughters and his philosophy - cooking that breeds connection and community.
